Origin:   As an Army brat, Byron has lived in Alabama, Florida, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Maine, Arizona, and West Virginia. Most of his life, however, has been spent in Upstate New York. A child of the 70's who grew up in the 80's, Byron became obsessed with Star Wars, KISS, Pro-wrestling, Pac-Man, Atari, G.I.Joe, Transformers, Masters of the Universe, Movies, and of course, DC and Marvel Comic Books.

Byron's obsession with collecting, reading and drawing comics started at age 9 when his older brother Alan got a job working after school at a comic book store in Sierra Vista, Arizona. His created his first original comic character, "Dark Tempest," at Averill Park High School in 1989. A dark and gritty character with an adult themed story that would more easily find a home in a publication like Heavy Metal Magazine than a comic book store shelf. He would finally complete the first issue 15 years later. It was soon followed by the similarly grown-up titles "Jupiter Child" and "Spectrum." All of which fell under the self-created label Wildfire Comics in 2002.

But then in 2005, Byron and his beautiful wife Susan had their first baby girl, Lily, in 2005. At that moment, he lost all motivation to tell dark gloom and doom stories. Chloe soon arrived after in 2007 and then Byron got the idea for The Caped Costumers Costumed Capers! The rest is history.
